We kindly ask you to RSVP as soon as possible, or by 31st January 2026 at the latest.

Due to capacity, only those noted on your invitation are able to attend.
Other than our son and flower girl, we kindly request an adults-only celebration. We hope that you will be able to arrange childcare and join us on our special day. Please reach out if you have questions!

Venue & Travel

Drumtochty Castle is located in Auchenblae, Aberdeenshire.
The nearest airports are Aberdeen and Dundee, and the closest train stations are Stonehaven and Laurencekirk. Local taxi details will be shared closer to the date.
Travelling from the North: From Aberdeen take the A90 ‘Stonehaven road’ south for 24 miles. Take a right at the signpost for ‘Auchenblae’, onto ‘The Waters’ road. Follow this road for 2 miles until you arrive at the village of Auchenblae, then take a left, signposted as the ‘Cemetery’. Follow this road round and take a sharp right at the junction. Then follow the road for 3 miles until you pass St. Palladius church on your right which is located next to the main entrance to Drumtochty Castle.
Travelling from the South: Take the A90 ‘North’ from Perth or Dundee for 38 miles. Just north of Laurencekirk turn left sign posted ‘Auchenblae’, onto ‘The Waters’ road. Follow this road for 2 miles until you arrive at the village of Auchenblae, then take a left, signposted as the ‘Cemetery’. Follow this road round and take a sharp right at the junction. Then follow the road for 3 miles until you pass St. Palladius church on your right which is located next to the main entrance to Drumtochty Castle.

The church is about one mile from the castle. Some guests may choose to enjoy the walk, but there will also be a minibus shuttling guests back and forth.

There is plenty of free parking is available at the castle. Please arrive at the castle entrance where you will be directed to the car park. Cars may be left overnight and collected the next day.
Accomodation

Yes! Saturday guests have the option to stay overnight at Drumtochty Castle for £200 per double room. Spaces are limited, so please confirm when you RSVP.
All rooms have access to a kitchen and include a breakfast pack of bacon, sausages, eggs, bread, orange juice, tea and coffee.

Yes there is WiFi available in the castle, wings, stables and lodges, however it should be noted mobile phone signal can be intermittent.

For those of you staying with us on Saturday night, check in is from 10am on Saturday and check out at 12pm on Sunday.
If you are part of the bridal party and staying for the weekend, check in is from 2pm on Friday and check out at 12pm on Sunday.When checking in, please arrive at the main castle entrance where you will be shown to your room.

Each room is equipped with towels, toiletries, a hair dryer as well as access to iron and ironing board.
For those staying in the wings, stables or lodges, the kitchen or communal area will be stocked with breakfast essentials.
Dress Code & Ettiquette

We can't wait to see you all dressed up! Traditional Scottish dress is encouraged (but not required) for men, and we request that women wear colour.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. If you would like to give something, we would be so grateful for a contribution to our honeymoon fund as we plan our first adventure as newlyweds.

We would love for you to take photos and share them with other guests on our shared album.
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, and please do not post photos of the couple on social media until they have posted. -
The bartenders serve until midnight, and from then drinks will be self serve only. After 1am, we encourage guests to head home, or back to their rooms/communal areas.
